Hello everyone! My name is Regina. I'm from Vladikavkaz.

I have a master's degree in psychology. For eight years I worked as a teacher-psychologist in the field of education. A year ago, my family and I moved to the USA.

I want to change my profession because working as a psychologist in this country does not appeal to me. I always wanted to try myself in IT.
I have been watching the students of your school for a long time, I would like to find a company or startup related to healthy lifestyle.

After 5 years, I see myself being successful in this profession, as an employee of a company with which I will have common interests. I can successfully implement assigned tasks.

      Hello everyone!
My name is Gunel. I am 42 years old, and I am from Baku, Azerbaijan. I am married and have 2 children. I hold a Bachelor's degree in finance and banking management, and I worked in the field for 5 years before moving to the US. I have been living here for over 12 years, and during this time, I have worked in real estate, and I liked to work with clients. I have known about Mikhael Portnov's school for over 14 years, and I have always wanted the opportunity to study at his school. I am very interested in this profession and I see myself in 5 years as a successful IT specialist.

I liked my job. But after immigration, I decided to change my profession.
While exploring possible options, I settled on Software QA. I'm currently gaining hands-on experience.

Hi everyone. My name is Adilia. Originally, I am from Moscow, Russia, but I have been living in San Diego for 1 year. I have a bachelor's degree in Finance from the Russian State University for the Humanities.

All of my professional experience is in the telecommunications field, spanning 11 years. I began my career as a salesperson, working with B2C, B2B, B2G, and B2O clients. I then advanced to become the head of my own department, where I managed a team responsible for building cell-phone towers and optical fibers for commercial real estate and business territories in Russia.

Since I moved to the US, I now have the opportunity to explore new career paths with a more flexible schedule and remote options. My previous work experience was closely related to analyzing information, finding and fixing mistakes in cases for building constructions before defending them, organizing the process of revenue generation, and cross-functional interaction inside the company. These are the reasons why I am interested in QA. Additionally, if I find a QA position in a telecommunications company, I believe I can progress more rapidly. So, I have decided to give it a try.

To be honest, it's a new country and a new field in QA for me, and it's hard to plan something for the next 5 years. Simply put, I will have a remote position in the IT world, manage my own team, and work on various cross-functional projects, facing challenges along the way.

Hello! My name is Elena. I graduated from the University of Landuseplaning in Moscow. I’m an engineer of landuseplaning. I worked at school (as a teacher), at the Bank (as a chief analyst in the credit cards department). Also I was a project manager. The last job was adviser. One year ago I arrived to the US and gave birth to my son. Now I want to work. My friends always say that in a battle between Lena and technology, Lena always wins. I love this profession and i think that is my passion. I am very meticulous in understanding all the problems that arise with websites and mobile applications. I think that I will be a good worker who will l be in demand and loved at work.

Hi everyone, my name is Valeriya , I finished SAINT PETERSBURG STATE,UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CIVIL ENGINEERING and moved to USA 3 years ago.Since I completed my last year online while I was a student in the US, I started working in the restaurant business because I really enjoyed working in a team and interacting with people. But after three years, having worked in different positions, I realized that I had achieved what I wanted and there was no further career. I feel like it's time to change direction and try something new.

Why QA? I find it very interesting, you have the opportunity to grow, learn new things and develop, and probably the main opportunity is to work online, I can’t live without traveling and try to visit as many places as possible.

I don’t know how far I’ll go, but I’m sure that I will be a sought-after QA specialist. I think at the moment I’ll learn automatic testing, and maybe code, although there’s a high probability that I’ll have my own startup too.

after relocating to US in 2022 decided to turn back to my education field because of opportunity to be involve in something significant and of course because of highly rate pay.

I start to work survival jobs right after high school graduation to support my family. But I always was attracted to technology and eventually was very happy to find a job as an operator-analytist of a road traffic at 2014 where I worked for several years. Sporadically I tried to learn front-end development but had no clear idea on how to get a real job in web development. Eventually one of my favorite tech YouTubers recommended me to try myself in software testing. I see my future in QA field only, and want to grow in profession to someone who really makes the difference as a software tester.

Hi, my name is Yarik. I have two master's degrees. One in finance and the other as an English language teacher. For 17 years I worked as a volleyball coach. Continued the family business. A career change, since I wanna claim my life back. My parents interfered with my choice 2 times and it made me very uncomfortable. I am open-minded and get along with people, yet I take great delight in working with documentation. I chose QA because a programmer friend recommended it. Besides, I've been watching Mikhail Portnov's channel for a long time, and testing is an entrance to the world I've long dreamed of. First of all, for me, it's the team, the atmosphere, and teamwork. After 5 years, I see myself as a competent professional. A valuable asset to the company and a great team member.
