Hello, my name is Andrei. I'm from Saint Petersburg, Russia. For the moment, I live in Cupertino. California. I have an Engineering university degree. I've experience working as a USA NGO office manager in Russia. For the last ten years, I worked as a project manager in the HVAC company, doing design and controlling the mounting. I achieved everything I could in this field and I'm at career-changing. When I moved to the USA I saw a great possibility to become a Software tester. In my previous works, I've tested a lot. I've been testing documentation during my work for the NGO, I've been testing designs, systems, and their units while working as an HVAC engineer. I've been testing and exploring everything around me all my life and I'm interested in everything around gadgets and computers. I like to learn new things. I'm sure that my great experience of working with different documentation and engineering systems, and my willingness to work in QA, will help me to become a great tester in a short time.

Hello Everyone! My name is David Malakhov. I am 29 years young. I am a first-generation American, with both my parents coming from Ukraine and Russia (yes I am fluent in both). Obtained my bachelor degree in Accounting and Marketing at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Immediately started working in the Mortgage Industry as a Loan Processor, then as a Loan Officer and now run an office as a Branch Manger / Loan Officer with a few employees under me. My industry took a hit last year with mortgage rates being at an all time high, and am needing a back up plan or even possibly an entire career change for more financial stability (as I got married last year and now have a 5 month old baby). I look forward to what this life path has in store!

Hello. I'm Olha, I'm 40 years old and I'm a mother of three children. I'm from Ukraine. After the start of the war, I lost my job several times. In search of a job that would not depend on the location, I became interested in IT. I was engaged in self-education and even took some courses in IT support. I have been in the USA for 9 months. My husband signed up for Portnov’s testing course, as he has been following his activities for a long time. But he went to work and was sent here by myself))) Now I’m trying to study testing and English at the same time. I hope for a bright future and offers) Good luck to everyone

My name is Akmaral, I live in Kazakhstan, Astana city. I have a bachelor’s degree diploma with the qualification of applied psychologist with specialization in educational management, also I have science degree in psychology.
I successfully gave lectures at a university for more than 16 years and conducted psychological consultations as well. In December 2022 I officially registered my own private psychological practice, and I provide psychological consultations for my clients remotely (online).
In my age crisis of 40 I realized that in my profession I had reached a lot and it's time to change my field of activity. After taking three free lessons by Portnov’s online course, I realized that the course is pretty easy to learn, and I can start with a relatively low technical skills level. I liked definitely that my age does not work against me, opposite – my life experience and experience in psychology will help me in new sphere because empathy is the main principle of psychology.
I also really liked that after 4-6 months of study and preparation I can start working in this field, but also do it in a foreign company or even in another country. I have experience working online and of course, I paid attention to the fact that in QA it is possible remote positions available, and it does not matter where I live.
I really interested in gaining a deep understanding of the basics of manual testing and I will devote time to horizontal development in my profession, expanding my knowledge and practical skills. I think that in the future I will remain in the field of software testing.

Hello. My name is Vadim Zadara. I have lived most of my adult life in the Cossack village of Taman (Kuban). Graduated from Kuban State Polytechnic University in the direction of "State and municipal administration", I also have an education in the field of "Industrial and civil engineering". I served in the army in the Special Forces. For most of my working career, I worked as a quality engineer (not IT). I have been living in the USA (Sausalito, CA) since December 2022. I firmly decided that I want to socialize in this society, one of the goals I set for myself is to get a sought-after profession. Literally from the first days of my stay here I hear about the Portnov School , many of my new friends with whom I communicate are graduates of the school and already work in IT. Thank you for helping people find themselves in life.

                    Hi! I'm Max.
I have a university degree in Ukrainian philology.
As a result, I became a Ph.D. in this field.
Throughout my career, I have taught Ukrainian literature and language at various universities in Ukraine.
In recent years, I have been teaching the Ukrainian language at a medical university to foreign students.
After feeling burnt out professionally, I decided to change careers.
At first, becoming a QA was accidental, but I grew to be very committed to the profession.
In 5 years, I see myself as someone who makes a difference in software testing.

Hi all! I'm Sergei . Trained as a pastry chef. He worked in sales, in the construction industry, in a taxi, and even as an animator at children's parties and more. No experience in IT.
Many friends recommended Uncle Misha's school as a reliable and shortest route into the IT field.
I want to study testing and in 3-5 years I hope to accumulate and learn to apply a large amount of knowledge, as well as achieve a good stable income.
