Hello, I am Elena. I am from Russia. I graduated Moscow Univercity of Land Use Planning in Russia and have worked as a land use planner. When I moved in US in 2019 I was looking for a new profession and my husband suggested to me Portnov Computer School.

My name is Iryna, for the past two years, I've been working as a team lead in the customer support department at an IT company. In total, I have four years of experience in the customer support field. Prior to that, I worked as an HR assistant in the IT industry. Regarding my education, I hold a bachelor's degree in business tourism and hotel management.

I moved to the US in 2023, and I believe that now is the ideal time for a significant career change to completely transform my life. Over the last six years, I've been closely connected to the IT sector, and I've always had a partial interest in QA, particularly its technical aspects. I possess a wealth of skills that can be seamlessly transferred to a QA role. For instance, I am detail-oriented and a quick learner; I have strong problem-solving and documentation skills, as well as a solid technical proficiency gained through my work with various software and products. Last but not least, I have a Customer-Centric Mindset, which I consider to be one of my strengths.

I am Stanislav Puskov, born and raised in Novosibirsk, Siberia. I graduated from Siberian State Transport University in 2007, earning a degree in industrial and civil engineering. Additionally, I completed a postgraduate program in economics, although I haven't defended my dissertation yet, and I may never do so.

In 2009, I had the opportunity to travel to the United States, where I briefly studied business and finance at UCIrvine for a single semester.
I've spent a significant amount of time working in the financial services sector as a project manager.

My career took an unexpected turn as I found myself in the world of professional volleyball, serving as a sport manager for a famous team for six years, which won the Champions League Tile in 2013.

In 2022 I left Russia for an uncertain period of time, settled down in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
I have a strong desire to become involved in the IT sector and actively seeking a career change.

My name is Jose Salazar. I am 28 years old and live in Mexico. I am currently working on my thesis for my bachelors degree in physics and have some experience at coding in FORTRAN and Python. Currently I've been working with simulations using computational fluid dynamics. Also, I have some experience building computers and running tests to make sure they work properly. I was invited by my cousin to take this course since she knows of my interest in IT. I am very excited to take the course and eager to learn the tools and techniques I can apply to software testing.

Hello! My name is Mariia. I'm originally from Saint-Petersburg, Russia, and I moved to the USA in 2017.

I earned a bachelor's degree in Economics from Saint-Petersburg State University in 2014. In Russia, I worked as an accountant. However, when I came to the USA, I didn't have work authorization, so I worked as a photographer for four years. Then, I gave birth to two babies in a row and took a three-year maternity leave.

Now that my kids are in daycare, I'm want to start my career in Quality Assurance (QA). I'm highly attentive to details, organized, and responsible.
