Hi, my name is Shamil. I am 19 years old. I came to the US from Kazakhstan and have been here for almost a year. I have always been interested in the IT sphere and have always tried to improve my knowledge in it. I have learned a few programming languages and read a lot of books about this topic. But I didn't really know for sure in what part of IT I should build my future career, and after I found out about QA, I realized that this might be the best choice. First of all, it is a really interesting job to do. The main goal of QA testers is to make a quality product for the final release so customers who will use it will be completely satisfied with it and the company can earn more money from it. After five years, I see myself as a senior QA tester in a top company where I can always improve my knowledge and skills in my career field.

Hi, my name is Ksenia. I graduated from State University in Russia. Worked for 7 years for my specialization back there. Here in the US, I spent a couple years stayed at home, taking care of my child. Now, I am looking for the right opportunity to re-enter the workforce and restart my career in a different field. Decided to change my career with Michail Portnov computer school, because of the good recommendations, and also from my own understanding that the IT field is always growing and in demand, has a lot of opportunities for beginners, and offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to work remotely. In 5 years, I see myself becoming a reliable professional in one of the areas of software testing.

My name is Tatyana. For most of my career, I worked as a technical project manager for a telecom operator. After moving to the USA, I decided slightly change direction and decided to become a QA. In my past career, I often came across the testing process and, as a project manager, actively participated in it, and this process brought me the greatest satisfaction, especially when I understood that the highest quality product would enter the market and users would enjoy working with it, and not experience service bugs. At the moment, I have been working a QA for 3 years and have never regretted that I dived deeply into this area.

            Hello, My name is Bogdan.
I graduated in 2013 and 2015 from the university, and have a professional & master's degree in Mathematical Economics, Optimizing production lines and IT services.

In university, I started working as a system administrator, after that - for 3 years as a network engineer, and then became the lead technician in one of four primary data centers in Russia.
Since 2019 I worked as Network Operation Specialist at an American company in Long Beach, CA. I tested the servers functioning, telephone lines, network load, and alert system (Zabbix). In that company, I met the QA team and found out that it was more interesting for me, so I wanted to shift to an official QA role and work close to developers (because it allows growing personal skill sets), but the company did not require additional people in the QA team at that time.

In the next 3 to 5 years I see myself as a highly skillful tester, surrounded by professional specialists from the IT sector, working on amazing projects.
