Hello. My name is Daria.
Thank you for inviting me for an interview. I am excited about the opportunity to discuss my qualifications for the position of Software Tester with your company.
I was born and had a background in Ukraine as a purchasing manager for one year, and as a lead engineer for almost 5 years, where I was responsible for budget planning for repairs in Ukraine.
However, I have been interested in software testing and have been eager to learn this skill. After moving to Canada in March I decided to pursue a new profession in this field.
So I have a chance to learn a new profession while in Canada, and I want to succeed in it.
I worked with the SAP program and during the work I constantly paid attention to bugs and errors, and accordingly referred them to the appropriate department for review and elimination.
I believe that my experience will be valuable in software testing. I am a quick learner and am always eager to develop new skills and take on new challenges.

Hi, my name is Valeriia. I live in Toronto, Canada for about 7 years. Back in Ukraine I graduated from the University and got bachelor degree in accounting and audit. Shortly after graduation I decided to change my life. I went to Australia where I lived for 2 years. I have worked as a management trainee at the front desk in an amazing heritage hotel in the Blue Mountains. I truly enjoyed working in a hotel industry so I decided to study hospitality in a college. This decision took me to Canada where I graduated from Seneca College where I studied Operations Management in Hospitality and Business Development. During this time, I worked as Manager in a Restaurant for 2 years. After graduation I got a job in the Hyatt Hotel. Worked there for a year. During Covid, life changed dramatically and I became a truck driver. My husband and I worked in a team for a little more than a year. Last 1,5 year I’ve been on maternity leave. This time off gave me an opportunity to really think of what I want and where I see myself in the future. And here I am, taking a course in QA.

Dear HR Representative,
My name is Maksim Melamed, and I recently became a permanent resident of the US. I moved here from Israel, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology and built my career as a Radiology Technologist at the Tel Aviv Medical Center. During my time there, I gained invaluable experience working effectively in high-pressure situations and developed a keen eye for detail.
My previous profession and work in the hospital were emotionally exhausting, and I knew that a career change was inevitable. However, I couldn't quite figure out the right path for me.
Moving to the US presented an opportunity for me to explore new options, and I found myself drawn to the dynamic culture of Silicon Valley and the IT industry. I began learning more about it, including self-studying Java programming. This led me to enroll in a Full Stack Developer Bootcamp to gain a deeper understanding of the field and determine which profession would be the best fit for me.
After a while, I needed a steady income, and I was hired by the local company Accenture on a project with Meta, where I worked as a Trust & Safety Associate and learned a lot about the workflows of two IT companies simultaneously. Among other duties in that role, I provided quality assurance and improved machine classifiers to ensure platform safety for all audiences and cross-functional teams. These skills are highly valuable in software testing.
As of today, I have firmly decided on my future profession, in which I can best apply my personal qualities and professional skills. Currently, I am enrolled in a Software QA Training program at the Portnov Computer School. I envision my future and career growth in this field.
Based on my experience as a Radiology Technologist and Trust & Safety Associate, as well as my attention to detail, developed critical thinking skills, patience, and meticulous work habits, I am confident that I am well-suited for a career in software QA testing.
I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to apply my existing skills and acquire new ones in this field. I am confident that my background and abilities will enable me to excel in this new beginning.
Sincerely,
Maksim MelamedLast edited by Maksim Melamed; 05-16-2023, 05:45 PM.
