    Hi,
I'm Mykola Khotyun. I've Automotive engineering BS degree from Ukraine and recent BS in Biology from FAU in FL.
For past ten years Ive been working as Operations manager at hospitality industry and lately in Car wash business as GM.
Changing gears towards the QA software engineer profession due to being involved, at one point in CW business, into the customer service solution software.
Working on the back end of that application I've learned about many mistakes which gave me a lot of problems being as a user. Thus I was always curious about how to improve those mistakes.
As well, being good amount of years in operations business I got a bit burn out from this job and looking forward to switch the gears and enter the QA as a great profession which helps improving the software.
Once starting a job as QA software engineer I'm seeing myself most experienced QA professional in five years from now.

          Hi everybody!
My name is Anna Balakhnina and I'm professional Artist who was moved in USA about 7 years ago.
For almost all this years, I worked as an artist and exhibited at all over New York, until the pandemic hits our world. Which by the way destroyed everything. It was then, two years ago, that I thought about to start something new in my life and did not dare to try. I was and still i guess afraid to try cuz I have no experience in this field, but after seeing how my friend works, who showed me your school by the way, I finally wanted to try myself in this field too.
How do I see myself in five years? Loving my job is for sure. After all, I believe that everything in this life is not just like that. And I'm here for a reason. I will try my best to prove it to myself.

Hello, my name is Louis Brestle. I was born in the United States where I still reside. I went to school at Loyola University in Maryland and graduated with a Sociology Major and minors in photography and forensics. I have worked in the restaurant business through college, where I met my wife Daria. Currently I am working as a materials coordinator and logistics head at a telecommunications company. I am looking for a career change as I feel like the work I currently do does not give me a full sense of purpose. I wanted to branch out and broaden my horizons which lead me to Portnov. My wife attended the classes there in person during the summer 2018 sessions and enjoyed it, which provoked many discussion between us about QA and its career path. Through those discussions and my previous and very minor programming courses my enjoyment of the technical and computers was rediscovered. In general I enjoy helping people and I see this as a way to combine helping with technology, I can provide insightful feedback to create a better product. In five years from now I can see myself continuing to educate myself and managing a team. A goal of mine would be to build a nice home on a secluded piece of land to enjoy the peace in nature, between my effort in QA of course. I look forward to all that I can learn from Portnov.

My name is Stas, I was born in 1997 in a small Russian city Ryazan, moved to Moscow in 2014 and have been living in Spain since 2022.

I studied in English at the International Finance faculty of the Financial University in Moscow from 2014 to 2018 and have a bachelor degree in World economy and International finance.

I have more than 7 years of total work experience in business consulting and residential and commercial real estate premium sales.
From 2015 to 2017 I worked as an associate director and website administrator of Bloomberg International Finance laboratory in Financial University in Moscow.
From 2018 to 2021 I worked as a business consultant for Moscow offices of Ernst & Young and Deloitte.
In 2021 I changed industry and became an elite residential and commercial real estate consultant and sales manager in one of the Moscow real estate premium agencies, I managed to close several deals.
In the end of 2021 CBRE made me an offer and invite to work with them as industrial real estate consultant and sales manager, in the end of 2022 I managed to close several deals as well.

Unfortunately, the actions of the Russian leadership in 2022 made it clear to me that they finally decided to make the political regime as totalitarian as possible, so at the end of 2022 I was finally able to make the difficult decision to leave the country - my career change is connected with this.

Since the time of the pandemic, I began to understand that having a remote job is a great solution, 2022 finally convinced me of this - so after research I decided to go in QA industry with the help of Portnov Computer School.

In 5 years from now I see myself as an experienced, reliable and successful QA tester and manager - as well as a happy person with a great job, the opportunity to work remotely and a decent salary.

                          Good afternoon!
My name is Mikhail, I have a higher technical education, as well as a candidate of technical sciences. He studied at the Tyumen State University of Gas and Oil.
From 2013 to 2020, I worked at the Transneft Corporation, worked there as a dispatcher, a control mechanic, a convoy mechanic,
from October 2020 to today I work in the USA building sheds.
I decided to change my specialty because I have long been interested in working in the IT industry in order to gain the experience I need in the future to implement my ideas and projects.
QA is interesting to me as one of the stages of understanding how software and products are tested, and since the project is being built, what processes are going on, how teams work with Scrum and Agile to apply this knowledge in the future, and of course I understand that this is different, but it is possible if you like it as a start for a programmer's career.
After 5 years, I see myself as an organizer and manager of my projects, as well as a good QA specialist who heads the testing department in startups that interest me.

My Name is Olga. I have a university degree in economics. For a about 10 years my husband and I worked on developing our business in the sport service and after moving to another city and selling it, I decided to find a remote job and became interested in graphic design. I studied it a lot, worked on creating my portfolio, my works began to be bought all over the world. After moving to the US, I knew for sure that I wanted to go further in the IT direction and I choose the profession of QA engineer because it is very interested for me and I heard a lot of successful reviews about this profession. In 5 years I see myself as a successful QA engineer, maybe it will be automation or a project manager and I hope that I will be able to bring something new to this profession.

                                Good Day!
My name is Maria Chanel I have studied BS Management and Accountancy in the Philippines back 2014. Have migrated to USA in 2015 and have been working as a Payroll admin for 4 years. Why career change? Why not! I feel like I have been complacent with admin work and would like to try something new. Since this generation is about techs, why not try QA. I have been introduced to it by a friend and up for a new challenge. I see myself more knowledgeable and working with a team or my own team in the next 5 years! Hopefully a firm of my own.
